I went to replace the serpentine belt on my 2017 Tucson 1.6 L and ran into some issues. First of all I can’t find any videos of anyone doing this on my exact vehicle. They are all either a different engine (2.0 or 2.4) or a different vehicle (veloster or accent). I found a video that helped, but it showed the belt tensioner pulley was located up against the alternator. I don’t have a pulley there as you can see in my picture.
I used this video to remove the old belt. When I put the new belt on, I could not get it to tighten. Because there is no tensioner. So it’s basically falling off. Should I just get another belt that is shorter and put that on? Does anyone have an experience like this? I need help.

I see the tensioner in the pic near the hose. Its the two bolts and that mount for the alternator. It moves rhe alternator to tension.
Watch this video. Ignore all the routing, etc. as it might not be the same.. but how to tension it, is correct.
