I brought a new 2022 Tucson Sel with Convenience pkg . It stated that an average 26 mpg in the city + 33 mpg on the highway overall 29 mpg overall. But I am averaging 19.2 mpg and I refill my tank 4 times already. Does anybody know what's going on or did the dealer never tune the truck. Any help.

I'm getting 26-27 mpg in the city, I have the SEL with 2.5 engine. I live in Florida so the a/c is always on. However, our speed limits are mostly 45 mph and not stop and go traffic.

Well same here. I always have the a/c and 750 miles have been in the freeway avg speed is 65 and in the city 40 and still. I am getting the same mpg in both a occasions. I will call the dealer so they can check it. I get more miles on my old trailblazer than I do on this tucson. Not cool at all.

I have same car and 19 mpg. Cars never get gas mileage as advertised. It has gotten better as it used to say 7 mpg.
