I recalled a center console safe as an option when I was (at the time) considering the Rav4 as our next SUV. We ended up (happily) with the Tucson PHEV instead and I had looked around since out of curiosity to see if there was such an option - to my finding, no, there isn't. If you have found otherwise, please share

What I did find was Console Vault, "The Original In-Vehicle Safe". No, nothing for the 2022 Tucson (or any other year for that matter), but their customer support indicated that:

At this time, we do not produce an in-vehicle safe for your vehicle. However, we develop our safes based on overall customer demand so your inquiry will be taken into consideration.

So, if this is of interest to you, too, drop them a note for a +1 on development for the Tucson. Maybe we'll eventually get lucky.

In the meantime I got a generic one that slides under and cable locks to the passenger seat.

.......And then there was the theft-deterrent "feature" for add-on 8-track players that you mounted under your dash: razor blades attached with epoxy and sticking out the back. You had to be willing to deal with bloodstains, however. (And yes, I'm dating myself.)

Yikes! Well, that would certainly stop them in their tracks! Still waiting on the all weather mats for the PHEV to hit the market so not sure I want too much blood splatter

Size and type made by many, like this one. (Mine was a limited run made by Ruger maybe a little more hefty but very similar)
