The Navigation update is back up and running on the Hyundai Navigation Updater (as it was pulled previously). Get your update on!

PLEASE NOTE: You will need a 33gb or greater USB stick for this update.

After tinkering around with the Full Screen settings, I found out that I actually like this split screen option from Android Auto compared to the FULL screen where I can easily bounce back and forth between what takes up the bigger portion of the screen, but still have all the information I need either for music or maps.

Updated. Thanks. Now my AAWireless dongle is not recognized as approved USB... wtf.
I tried to update and like you my thumb drive was not recognized once plugged into the USB port in my car, or at least it said there were no files on my drive to install. I just gave up on it.

It takes about 45 mins to upload the update to the car. The update gets rid of the ugly (IMHO) radio transistor tubes and displays the radio station name /logo. It shows your presets on the side as well; a MUCH needed update!
Unfortunately, my HD radio DATA is still not working.

Done. No hiccups at all. 43 minutes to update via USB. I like the radio screen changes.

I updated my Tucson Limited's map/nav and had the same problem with AAwireless, I enabled passthrough and works great. My screen looks a bit different than yours. My control buttons for microphone, and music and so on are on the bottom of the map display not on the left like yours.

I'm uncertain what 'Luxury' trim is, but I notice all other posters here with their car listed in their profile have the Limited or Ultimate (Canada's equivalent?). I'm just being lazy, but does this navigation feature and its update apply only to that level trim? Or extend as well to my wife's SEL?

Also, for others having difficulties of any sort, I caught on another manufacturer's forum of problems with their update using FAT32 v. NTSB stick format.

Don't worry as much about the trim, there is a 10" screen (that has navigation) and an 8" screen. Your wife's SEL will have the 8" screen and does not use this update

Go to the Hyundai website, hers will have an update as well. Look for non navigation

Great intel, thanks. On top of the SEL I made sure she got that bigger screen, dual-zone climate and bigger wheels in the Convenience Package. Now with two unopened 32G sticks I get to buy a bigger one!

And we'll have to test out that Nav to see if it's better than what she uses on her phone.

I have the same model looking at your signature. It's a bit confusing but the SEL Conv/Prem model gets a bigger speedometer screen...but not a bigger entertainment screen. Your model only has the non-navigation 8" entertainment screen. Use this link:

Correct the 10.5 Navigation infotainment screen is not available on the SEL no matter what package you add to it. But it does get the more advanced speedometer screen.

Ok. Ok. I'm apparently moving too fast n loose with my posting. I wanted my wife to have the larger instrument panel (safety info & operating indicators etc.) and was not as bent on the nav / info-tainment screen upgrade. Thanks for the gentle redirects and I think I've at least found out there's the 8" non-nav update in our future. I'll know to dig in to the details this evening, thanks all's.

I just read a 'gripe' in a recent post as their hybrid not having usb 3.0, only 2.0. I'll be lurking to confirm, along with whether it's just for those models or proven otherwise in the 400-page manual for my gasser.

can anybody who did the update with a usb stick verify if the usb data port is 3.0 or is it only 2.0
Probably hard to tell what spec the car has. Can I ask why it matters?

USB sticks will negotiate to the highest level both sides can operate at. So if the car were 2.0 and stick 3.0, they'll both work at 2.0
