I would speculate that it facilitates access to the rear wiper mechanism if that's ever needed for a repair or something.
Makes sense, thanks. I was hoping it was a secret compartment (lol)I would speculate that it facilitates access to the rear wiper mechanism if that's ever needed for a repair or something.
Amen to that!!...and this is my third Hyundai. It's by far the best car I've ever owned.
At my age, that's redundant.Speedbrake?
Yeah to hide your fob in heheheMakes sense, thanks. I was hoping it was a secret compartment (lol)
Style. Every curve in the metal doesn't have a purpose other than style, so, it's aesthetically pleasing. It's a rear spoiler for when you go over 120 mph on the race track.
In other words, I don't know.![]()
No, it definitely has a purpose. If you look closely at the picture (or at an actual Tucson), you will see it's not a curve in the sheet metal but an actual panel that can presumably be removed.Style. Every curve in the metal doesn't have a purpose other than style, so, it's aesthetically pleasing.
OK, I have a different idea...Here's a picture of a Honda SUV that appears to have the same panel, even though the rear wiper is at the bottom of the rear window:I would speculate that it facilitates access to the rear wiper mechanism if that's ever needed for a repair or something.
In that case, I definitely think you should remove yours...No, it definitely has a purpose. If you look closely at the picture (or at an actual Tucson), you will see it's not a curve in the sheet metal but an actual panel that can presumably be removed.
James Bonds style? 🤣🤣Makes sense, thanks. I was hoping it was a secret compartment (lol)
Over 120? Any side street…. My speedo (2022 Tucson Limited Hybrid) tops out at 160. Totally useless, makes it harder to read the actual number. I hope they reduce it to 120 on my firmware update…. But they bricked my car doing the update and don’t expect a new ECM for 2-3 weeks. Meanwhile they gave me a rental Toyota TinyCar POS. I’m in process of bitching to the dealer to get me in at least something I can fit my daily tools in…It's a rear spoiler for when you go over 120 mph on the race track.
