I have a 2022 Tucson Hybrid Limited with the AUTO Wiper Control. when leaving this function on, it seems to work fairly well when driving in rain (not so much in snow). But if it stops raining or snowing, the wipers stop operating (as they should), and then I generally forget to turn the wipers off. I’m concerned that if I remote start the car to warm it up the next time after there is snow or ice on the windshield, the wipers will start again and potentially break the wipers. Anyone have this concern and know of a way to deal with it (other than having to remember to always turn the wipers completely off)? Seems that Hyundai should have designed the system to automatically turn off the wipers when the car is turned off.

I've never seen a car with wipers that come on with remote start?
I definitely have experienced getting into the car, turn it on, and the wipers scrape the ice/frost on the window but that's my problem for not clearing it first / turning off auto.
But the above question is concerning wipers that come on automatically when wet. Would these be activated with remote start?

That is a tricky one. I believe any remote control of the wiper would not be possible because the control is a mechanical button. I also believe that is the reason so many of the functions on new cars are controlled by touch pads. It is likely that your wipers may come on in the situation you describe.
