I have a 2022 Tucson Hybrid Limited with the AUTO Wiper Control. when leaving this function on, it seems to work fairly well when driving in rain (not so much in snow). But if it stops raining or snowing, the wipers stop operating (as they should), and then I generally forget to turn the wipers off. I’m concerned that if I remote start the car to warm it up the next time after there is snow or ice on the windshield, the wipers will start again and potentially break the wipers. Anyone have this concern and know of a way to deal with it (other than having to remember to always turn the wipers completely off)? Seems that Hyundai should have designed the system to automatically turn off the wipers when the car is turned off.
