Can not keep FCA (Forward Collision Assist-Avoidance) set at Warning Only

I do not want to have FCA (Forward Collision Assist-Avoidance) set "To Assist" when it is snowing due to the fact that I have had it give FALSE readings. Snowflakes hit the sensor, thus it will Alert, and may Assist even when standing at a Traffic Light with no other cars around. I DON'T WANT this to happen when I am driving on an expressway. I try to set the FCA to Warning Only. When I turn off the vehicle after having it set to Warning Only and turn the vehicle on again, the FCA is set back on "To Assist". Is there anyway to have it stay in "Warning Only" status?

Good question. I turned mine off got the same reason but it hasn't snowed since. I will have to see if mine reverted also. Thanks for the tip.
