Has anyone had any issues or problems bringing their car through a car wash?

I read someone had some sensor issues for a few minutes after a high pressure wash but it dried out and they were fine. Everything should be weather proofed enough

I would avoid soft touch personally for fear of swirls

I've experienced one issue. Every time I have my '22 Tucson HEV Ultimate washed at the local touch-free car wash the check engine light (CEL) comes on for a couple of days. I brought my vehicle to the Hyundai dealer a few months ago to have the issue looked into. On a scan of the faults archive they apparently found instances of a fault event related to the water pump. On troubleshooting they found an electrical connector (associated with the water pump) in the engine compartment area that wasn't fully inserted - they replaced the connector's seal and then fully inserted the connector. Unfortunately that didn't resolved the problem - the issue continues. I will have the dealer look into this problem again in 2 weeks time when I bring my Tucson in for its first oil change.

Thanks a lot for the reply. With so many sensors attached to the outside of this car I am hesitant to expose it to the high pressure water and high pressure air drying process. I have read a couple of complaints of water settling in the passenger rear footwell. Anybody else having issues with this?
