post negative stuff, i want to read the criticism as bad experiences voiced can help the brand correct them.
For example,. we don't even get that BLUE in canada, on any trims.
That’s the sort of stuff I believe should be in a “shopper’s reference” of sorts.
In the USA you pretty much MUST live in (or buy in, with an out-of-state penalty) certain states to get a PHEV.
I don’t know if the actual trim comparisons are consistent in other countries, but in the states, desirable features trade back and forth a bit.
Personally, I don’t like the push-button transmission. If you haven’t tried it, drive one and make a 3-point turn, you’ll see my point pretty quickly… or check out my car wash thread, being able to bump your car from N back to D without the brakes is a luxury you never knew you had.
So is a stick, a “desirable feature”? In my opinion, yes, but that’s also impossible if a Hybrid is important to you.
If that’s important ENOUGH to you, put a ✔ in the N-Line and the NON-Hybrid models BELOW Limited.
Here’s another one that most shoppers may not care about, but I found noteworthy, if you get a Limited or Hybrid SEL Convenience, you get Michelin Primacy AS. Everything else gets Nexen or Kumho (or similar)… for me, that’s another considerable feature.
That’s the sort of stuff I think should be in a shopper’s reference. A video for this would be great coming from someone who already does car videos. Honestly I think information like that is valuable even just in a list. I have no clue why a forum based entirely on all the levels of a specific model, would censor a conversation about these features.
I’m probably not making a video, but I’m tempted to, just for a feeling of value in my past month’s buying… er, “silliness.”
Also notice the nature of the internet, and why I’ll probaby fade here… the guy who says “prove it” doesn’t even acknowledge the proof… and the guy saying “post negative stuff” also “out”.
