Why do you want to turn them off they’re there for safety ?I'm asking if they can be turned off during day light.
I was thinking to turn off during day light. Why do you want to turn them off they’re there for safety ?
I like the way that the Tucson look but it was a thought that I have to turn off the DRL.Mandatory in Canada. Can not be turned off here. These cool lights are one of the reasons I wanted this vehicle!
Unfortunately, DRLs are not required in the US, and not all cars have them, nor is there any requirement for those that don't to have their lights turned on during the day (except for rain/snow when wipers are on). In cars that do have DRLs, the ability to turn them off depends on the manufacturer and model of the car, and if they put a "DRL off" switch in them.DRL is also a requirement in the USA no?
The whole point of DRL is "DAYTIME" Running Light for safety reasons so other drivers can see you, especially a bright sunlight is behind you or at dusk condition where drivers feels light is still not needed, but actually it is necessary.
Because they draw continuous power from the battery. You do not need these lights during daylight hours. Why do you want to turn them off they’re there for safety ?
And the Tucson succeeds at that - can see it coming while looking good doing it...DRL is also a requirement in the USA no?
