I'm curious why the Tucson Hybrid does not run in EV mode more frequently? The battery meter never seems to go much below 50%. Seems to me the mileage would improve greatly if the auto would run longer on battery, at least till it gets low (ie. 25%). I believe it's working properly, as EV always engages when coasting/braking, and for short periods while driving, but not for very long, even with smooth acceleration. Any ideas or feedback would be greatly appreciated....thanks in advance!

In Eco mode, in town and highway below 60mph, mine cycles ICE/EV to cycle the battery between 25% and 75%. However, once the battery gets below 50%, it only stays in EV mode under light loading (steady speed in town, slightly downhill at highway speed).
in Sport mode, it will often run the battery to 90% and rarely goes into EV mode except when coasting. But switch to Eco with the battery over 90% and it goes EV and if it can, stays there until the battery is down to well under 50%.
