Greetings.
I've been told that our long anticipated PHEV (since July) has a delivery date of early April.

I'm wondering:
Does anyone know if the seats changed in 2023 from 2022? I know the fabric is different, but what about the seats themselves?

Did the question of a spare tire for the PHEV ever get resolved? Is there a donut that will fit the car that can be
carried in the back (not stored where the battery is)?

I've seen a console organizer on Amazon and at the online Hyundai store. Are they the same?

From your collective experiences, are there particular items that I should pay attention to prior to accepting and
paying for the vehicle?

Thanks for your help.

Congratulations! I recommend standing in front of a mirror and practicing your huge grin.

You may already have it memorized (since July), but be sure to read the Owner's Manual. There are lots of choices and options to customize the car the way you want it.

I don't see a console organizer in the Hyundai toys web site. There are two styles of organizers available on Amazon under a variety of brands. Mine works fine; the other style should also.

Double check the tire pressure at delivery. Mine was delivered at 51 PSI, which I only discovered the next day, on the freeway. I just learned (on one of the two Tucson forums) that some cars are shipped with the tires overinflated. My dealer neglected to deflate them.

The Hyundai (and 3rd party) mud flaps are pretty minimal, but especially if you live in salt country they are probably worthwhile.

I told them not to put any advertising on the car, except possibly for a license plate frame (which I promptly replaced). If they want me to do advertising for them, they can pay me.

I also told them not to put on the front license plate holder, since it wouldn't be needed in my state.

If you are using the 120 volt EVSE that comes with the car, be sure to set it for the highest amperage that the circuit it is plugged into will support. Overnight charging at 12 amps takes around 12 hours, which works fine for me.

Enjoy!
