I have recently bought Tucson Elite (2021/22), 1.6-liter turbo. I am not enjoying the experience due to the issue with the brakes. When I press the brake pedal, there is friction that I feel through the pedal once the brakes are engaged. It seems like something is grinding. It is really annoying. Anyone is experiencing the same?

Get the dealer to check the disks for scoring. You may have a stone or similar stuck in the pads. If not, it may be because the pads are new and still bedding in. Give it 100 miles or so.
