Not sure as to leasing, but for buyers the 2022 model year is sold out. I'm not sure if you can order for 2023 yet or not. Wait times have been 5 to 6 months, but then almost every vehicle has wait times these days.

With my Grand Cherokee lease coming up on June 30th, I’m pretty much decided on leasing a Tucson hybrid limited. Drove a 2004 Elantra GT hatch from new for 12 flawless years and 130,000 mi so I’m aware of how good a Hyundai can be. I’ve never seen one in person but am stopping by a dealership on Thursday for a look. All the vids on YT have sold me. I’ll need to get something locked in soon to be able to meet my deadline.
If you are willing to drive I just picked mine up in Albany at Lia Hyundai. They are selling at MSRP and leasing at hyundai advertised rates. Great buying experience but they are selling about 1 month out.Hi all. With my Grand Cherokee lease coming up on June 30th, I’m pretty much decided on leasing a Tucson hybrid limited. Can I ask what state you live in? I'm in MA trying to buy one, but apparently buying it out of state would be complicated and annoying, both for taxes and registration. If you are willing to drive I just picked mine up in Albany at Lia Hyundai. I’m in RI but I have bought cars out of state when I lived in Mass. NY does temp plates and the dealer handles all the registration stuff. NY dealer fees are also lower. You will pay sales tax for whatever state you register the vehicle in. This is the same no matter what. Can I ask what state you live in? Thanks! Yeah I think the issue is that MA doesn't recognize temporary plates. There is something about being able to transfer plates from your old car if you aren't keeping it, but I'm just confused by the whole thing.I’m in RI but I have bought cars out of state when I lived in Mass. When I bought in RI while living in Mass they told me that they couldn’t do temp plates because RI doesn’t do out of state temp plates. They didn’t say anything about MA requirements but that being said it took about a week to get the registration done. I just had to go to the dealer twice. Once to sign purchasing documents; once to pick up the car. Thanks! Yeah I think the issue is that MA doesn't recognize temporary plates.
