Hey everyone!

I am relatively new to the forum and thrilled something like this exists for current and future Hyundai Tucson owners.

I’m a 37 year old orthopaedic physiotherapist from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

I currently drive a 2013 Ford Edge SEL. Love the vehicle, but as I hit 200k it’s time to move on. Especially with gas prices hitting $1.69/litre today.

I put a deposit down in March for a 2023 Hyundai Tucson Ultimate PHEV in Amazon Grey/Black. The test drive was amazing in a 2022 Tucson hybrid, I was in heaven! I have never had a new vehicle in my life, and I thought it was time to treat myself.

I'm Nick, and also in waiting, but for a 2022 Hybrid SEL-C that has been sitting at the California port for more than two weeks waiting for a truck driver to bring it to Arizona. I'm told it will now be another 3.5 weeks before likely delivery, but not holding my breath. Good luck with yours. Maybe you'll see it before the end of the year.

Were you actually able to order one. I took possession of my 2022 PHEV last Nov. Absolutely love it. My husband wants one also but we can't place an order in Kamloops yet

Nice to hear from you Nick! I hope you see yours by the end of May or even June. I understand the frustration with the waiting and delays.

I was able to put the deposit down, but the ‘ordering’, ‘availability’ and the ‘queue’ all remain a mystery. I remain hopeful that one day soon my sales guy will phone and say my order has gone through! Until then, here’s to waiting lol.

That’s so exciting, I’m jealous! Please share with me what int/ext colours you picked (and what your husband wants) and any pros and cons you’ve seen so far. I’m also addicted to Tucson reviews/comparisons on YouTube haha!

I love my Ultimate hybrid in Amazon Grey but went with the light interior. It looks fantastic!
