Future PHEV owner (hopefully)

We are planning on upgrading our 2018 Tucson Limited with a Plug in Hybrid Tucson if they ever get released.

If anyone in the US hears anything about the PHEZ being released, I'd like to know. I've found some reviews from Sweden (I think). So they are in production just not being brought to the us market yet.

We just bought a Black with Grey interior Tucson Limited PHEV. We pick it up Monday.
The Plug In's are rolling into dealers in New England. Seems like one per dealer for now.

We didn't order or reserve. I just kept a very keen eye on the inventories of all the local dealers. This one was listed as 'in transit' in the dealers inventory. I called to find out when it would be in, and it had just been unloaded off the truck.
We have 2 other dealers who were supposed to call us when they get a PHEV in, but dealer..... So no reliability. I know one of these dealers at least had a PHEV tucson come into stock and I got no call.

You can't look at the hyundai main inventory page, you have to each dealers website.

@Dbetterred interesting! Hyundai havnt updated their US website with Tucson Phev pricing. We can only "reserve" it as of Oct 3 2021. I called my dealer this morning - they have no idea when its going to be in stock.
Thanks for letting us know about local dealer inventory! I reserved silver with grey interior. Excited to see how grey interior gonna look like!

We purchased from First Hyundai in North Attleboro, MA. Chris was our salesman.
We had to bargain a bit, but they treated us fair.

@Dbetterred thanks! Looks like they are the only "dealership" who got 1 PHEV delivered so far in New England (as far as I know).
Man, you got lucky with that one. 🤟
I have been waiting for 2-3 months.
Does that one drive better than tucson hybrid?
