Have begun to enjoy my 2022 Tucson even more!

At first, I was unimpressed with the performance and I suppose, the newness of my 2022 Tucson, but after driving it for a few hundred miles, I'm starting to enjoy it more and more. It seemed to get quieter, smoother, quicker overnight, perhaps those few hundred miles did have something to do with 'breaking it in' to normal driving, at any rate, I like it!

Was going to trade 2022 in for genesis gv70. The Tucson interior is nicer. Smooth curving lines. Maybe not as quiet but it's hard to tell. Price diferencial will keep me in my tucson.
Anyone else think the screen and plastic surfaces are dust magnets? Bought dollar store wipes to clean.

I love my piano black console areas. I use waxy rags after I wax my car and its just enough to make them clean and smidge proof to some extent. Love the way they gleam and hopefully I don't get ay scratches with the wax.

Well, the Genesis has the information center that 'sticks up' over the dash, which is why I love the Tucson SEL I own. The linear lines of the dash, no humps or bumps sticking up, just a straight linear line across, beautiful! If I had a wish for improvements....spring loaded steering wheel (It's on my 2001 GMC Jimmy..) and although mine has both packages, convenience and premier, I don't have the panoramic roof, which I desire.

You nailed it with the interior. I love the smooth design of the interior. I cant stand now the sight of a knob, an obvious air vent or a gear stick. It is gorgeous.

Those that haven't sat in a new Tucson and witnessed the views from the unobstructed dashboard, are missing out. Happy you like yours, and I agree about what they look like.

In the GV70 you are looking at 56 grand. That gives you the roof. When it's closed which is most of the winter it will look just like yours and think of all the money you saved!
After looking at used cars, which are normally good values, and having found none, I decided on the 2022 Tucson. I am very happy with it, comfortable, sight lines are terrific, the body shaping is super, a bit over $34K, not bad, and that guarantee/warranty, can't beat it.....I can live with the small sunroof that this one has.

We had a decent Subaru before the Tucson. Yeah, it’s a decent , reliable vehicle, but God, there’re everywhere! BORING! The new A/C entertainment screen is slow and glitchy! Got tired of putting up with it! Here’s the geeky part, sometimes I guess look in the garage and admire how good the Tucson look! ( yeah, I know, I need to get a hobby! ).👴🏻

I was surprised at how big the Tucson was! I thought it would be smaller, it's a perfect size for me. I don't make special trips to look at it, but admire it coming out of the grocery store or golf course, the rakish lines are beautiful, the linear dash is exceptional, found it's only on the SEL and above models with digital dash, the lesser models have hoods over the instruments.

Add me to liking this car more and more. MPG continues to be a big surprise. I can get easily 38 to 44 mpg hwy depending on speed. My overall since day one is what my Soul got hwy, 32.8 mpg.
Smart cruise control is a big help with fatigue and works hwy or in traffic. They really got the styling right inside, outside, front and back. Still considered a compact it has lots of room for taking trips without even the space from putting the seats down needed. Climate control is maybe the best I have had. I have always liked red gauges at night and can choose that and switch daytime if I want.
I can still pick on a couple things I don't like but I made the right choice.

Get a microfiber cloth. It works better.

Yeah, I love the red look on the dash in Sport mode. My wife says I get an evil look in my eyes when I switch to Sport😳🤪

My wifes SEL has that over the dash thing going on and I don't care for it. My Limited looks so much nicer inside.

Must be without the premium package. My SEL has the limted one. Thankfully.

Yeah its the basic one that came through with just the tailor hitch for a option. Wish you could order what you want like the good old days...
