I've been using my heated seats and heated steering wheel - no issues; seem to heat up fast, similar to my BMW 3-series.

On my Caddy XTS it takes forever to heat, and the explanation is that the occupancy sensor is between the heater and the leather surface. Could be true I suppose. Just wondering how they work on the Tucson.
Even the driver's seat ? ( which would not have an occupant sensor)Our heated seats take quite a while to heat up (PHEV) compared to our old 2012 Tucson. I wish there ways a temperature adjustment feature
Actually, it has nothing to do with the occupancy. It is one of the "Convenience Features" settings. Go to "Setup" - "Vehicle Settings" - "Seat" - "Heated/Ventilated Features" - "Auto. Controls that use climate control settings". This is based on whatever temperature you set in car climate control settings and it will keep the temperature of the driver's seat warmer, air ventilated seat and heated steering wheel to be controlled automatically, based on the inside and outside temperature of the vehicle ( when the engine is running).Even the driver's seat ? I think you've misinterpreted what was posted ... the OP is wondering if the occupancy sensor (used for air bag deployment) physically present inside the front passenger seat is preventing the seat from heating up as fast as the driver's seat does.Actually, it has nothing to do with the occupancy.
