Welcome to the forum @bangvegas! Congratulations on your new Tucson! How are you enjoying it so far? Were you looking at other SUVs or were you set on the Tucson?

Hey @bangvegas, how else did you spec it? What has gas mileage been like for you so far?
To be honest Hyundai wasn't even a contender. Wife wanted a new car for months. Our son will be driving soon and we needed a third car. Wife would drive the new car and son would get Mom's Escape. After two years, son would get the Tucson for college and wife would get her new dream car. I'll let her dream for now. LOL College is going to hurt her dreams of a new car.
The cars we thought about were:
Chevy Blazer RS
Jeep Wrangler Limited
Ford Bronco Sport Badlands
I really thought the Chevy Blazer was it. But wife kept harping me to take a look at Hyundai. So I went.
I was instantly greeted by the salesman and I immediately said I didn't know anything about Hyundai's but wife mentioned the Santa Fe and Tucson and it had to be the top of the line. The salesman shows me the the Santa Fe Calligraphy and the new Tucson Limited. I drove the Santa Fe Calligraphy and instantly fell in love but I felt it wasn't a good fit for our family. Then the salesman tells me they have a 2022 Tucson. Something just caught my eyes and I couldn't stop looking. The grill and side mirrors got me. It was different for sure and the paint and interior sold me right away. Here is the wife's car and I'm loving it. Then I looked at the window stickers and I'm floored. I'm like this can't be right. Both cars are below the price of the cars I thought I would get and these Hyundai had more bang for the buck. I was sold!
Wife loves her new car but she only driven it twice. She's too afraid to drive it so she takes my Rebel to work and I've been driving her car. LOL
I didn't spec it. They had two Tucson Limited. A white and black. The white was a few hundred more due to the paint color and the black was cheaper. Both had added carpet floor mat and reversible cargo tray.
I was the first to buy the limited and the car had just arrived that day. They didn't even had the chance to inspect it or even remove the interior wraps.
Still working on the gas tank filled by the dealership. So far I show 26 mpg. About 80% highway. Power is good but it does lack a bit. Still breaking in the engine but I did use the paddle shifter and sport mode. It's good but not great. I think the Tucson has what it needs to do and I'm happy with it.

Hi George. Where in Canada are you? Are you thinking of a 2022? I have a hybrid on order in Hamilton.
