How NOT to lock doors?

2022 Tucson Hybrid Limited. My doors lock automatically at ~15MPH. Not a problem, but I really don’t want that. I prefer all doors unlocked ALL the time. There are times to leave the car on while parked and retrieving something from the back seat. I have to actively unlock the doors - even though both front doors are wide open. Too much automation makes it difficult to use.

Anybody know how to turn off the auto lock - or is a dealer OBD scanner thing?
Is it really that hard to push a button?

Can someone explain how locking the doors prevents them from swinging open in a collision and ejecting the passengers. The latch mechanism doesn't change. It is even stated that the doors will unlock in a collision. That being the case, what's the difference if they are initially locked or not?
When your doors are unlocked, the door handle mechanisms are functional. The impact of the crash may force them to activate? just a guess.

It might be that the impact of the collision is what causes the door to unlock, like the inertia switches that turn off the fuel pump on impact. I really don't see it making much of a difference. In my 31 years in the fire service the only people I saw ejected from cars was through broken windows. Any issues we ever had with doors was NOT being able to open them. Sometimes we had to cut off doors, dashboards and even roofs to extricate people. The super strong lock on car doors, called the Nader bolt, that large pin you see in the door jam of your car, is hardened steel, and the latch is a double latching system. IIt was designed to stay closed under great impact.
