The Hyundai roof racks are made by Thule (but cost half as much). For the panoramic roof the written instructions call for torquing the feet to 6Nm. The generic Thule wingbar racks spec a torque of 4Nm and include a 4Nm ratcheting torque key. The Hyundai roof racks just come with an allen wrench.

I spoke with Thule tech support. They said to follow the 6Nm spec in the Hyundai instructions. Thule does not make a 6Nm torque key, however.

If you search for "6Nm torque key" on Amazon or other sites you can find a ratcheting torque key. This is a standard tool for bicycle repair and maintenance.

Thanks appreciate the info, even though I'll never install a roof rack on my ride, I prefer using a light trailer over a roof rack, some roof racks can be as expensive as a cheap used trailer
