Hi! I’m new to this forum and feel great to have found this group. I purchased my 2022 Tucson in July and waited almost a month to get it.

So far, I’ve only had one issue that had me taking it back to the dealer and they needed it several days, and found out that it seems to be something that is happening to several people. All of the warning lights came on and scared the beejeezus out of me! I had about 300 miles on it, too. They couldn’t find anything and it hasn’t occurred since (it was August).

I’m looking for help with the Info System. I was always able to have either a map or the radio on the screen and a split of either the map or the radio. NOW…if I have the radio or map on the main screen, I can only get the weather on that split screen. Anyone know how I can get it back to where it was?

Thanks so very much for any help…and I hope I explained it well enough to understand the problem.

Below is what I posted in answer to a "split-screen" question in another forum ... doesn't directly address your question but might give you some hints.

Under the Display settings, you'll see Split Screen where you'll have to check ON all the functions you want to be available in the split screen area; IIRC Radio and Map are greyed out because you can't de-select them.

If your main screen is displaying the Radio or Map, you'll see a small left-pointing triangle at the right edge - tapping that will pull the right side of the window frame to the left, revealing a square split-screen area on the right. While the split screen is visible, the small triangle will become right-pointing and as you might expect, tapping that will collapse the split screen, returning you to full screen mode.

With the split screen on, you can swipe up/down in that area to cycle through the possible choices (the ones you previously selected in the Display settings).

While the Radio is visible in the split screen area, you can use the left/right triangles to both sides of the station name to tune to the next/previous stations. Or, you can use the bottom-most triangles to move between saved radio station favourites.

To enable split screen while in Apple CarPlay, you must explicitly enable it in the Device Connections setup (not the Display setup).

I've just learned all this in the last day or so ... hope it helps you!
