Issue with my 2022 Tucson SEL Hybrid

So I just purchased our new Tucson a week and a half ago. We love it, it ran great the first 5 days or so. All of the sudden it's making this super loud noise while driving. This noise is audible at most speeds (Probably 5 MPH+). It seems to also have gotten worse as I noticed today, when I put the car in drive and just lightly press the gas, then release I hear a rattling/grinding sound. Anyone else experience an issue like this?Link to Video

Is there something rubbing on a tire? Maybe a loose fender liner or mud guard? Is it louder when cornering? If so check the front tires first. You shouldn't drive it long like that for sure.

Have you looked underneath of the car? Quite possible that something got picked up during the driving ( tree small branch or else) and stuck somewhere.
It is also possible that oil pan shield is missing some screws and go tloose - thus, making sound when driving ( I recall that there was a discussion on this forum - users who had such issue with their new Tucson)
It does sound like a tire issue to me as well. Possibly a slipped belt in the tire?
This kind of problem puts the tire out of round, and results in the kind of sounds you are hearing.
I looked underneath all the tires yesterday and couldn't seem to find anything out of place or that shouldn't be there. Tried popping the hood to to see if anything looked out of place (Granted I'm not mechanically inclined). I have an appointment with them tomorrow so I'll just keep it in the garage until then.
So it turns out it's the AWD Transfer case. They're ordering a new part, of course I'm SOL. It's my only vehicle and they're not providing me with a loan or rental. Who knows how long it will take. At least in TX if it takes more than 30 days I can go down the lemon law path. I guess I should have stuck with a honda/toyota.

Be more aggressive contact corporate that’s bs not loaner car !
Hi, I have been getting that noise too. Hyundai said it's the transmission. After some back and forth gave us a loaner and said they'll buy back the car. But we're thinking of waiting for it to get fixed due to markups from other manufacturers and availability.

With my car it’s wind noise not transmission

Is the sound in your video that you are referring to the low-pitched whine? I couldn't hear the rattling/grinding sound.

My PHEV makes the same sound, and I'm trying to determine if it is normal or not before I go do battle with the dealer. Did you have to convince the dealer that there was a problem or did they diagnose it themselves?

What was your outcome? Was the transfer case replaced and did the whine go away?

Hello, I had the same noise along with not shifting out of 1st gear. The dealer replaced my transmission, now it shifts fine but the noise is still there. Good news, it shifts correctly out of first, bad news noise still present. I will be contacting my dealer this week. Purchased my Tucson Hybrid Del early Feb. 2022. I may mention the AWD transfer case JT-DFW mentioned to my Service Manager.
That sound is NOT normal. Don't drive it any farther than a trip to the service department.

Hello, did they replace your transfer case and did that resolve the noise issue?
It has been about 13 days since my Tucson Hybrid has made any weird noises. The dealership replaced my transmission towards end April, still had the same noise until the end of the first week of May. Now I haven't heard the noise since....that is so weird. Maybe the transmission fixed the issue...not sure. I have appointment with dealership soon with the Hyundai FSE to look at the problem I was having, now I'm sure they will not be able to replicate it. I hope it was just a delayed fix and transmission had to settle or something. Rides and sounds(quiet) like a new car now.:)
