That is not normal. get it looked at asap.
Yes, I had similar at about the 300 mile mark. The car was also stuttering a little when accelerating from a stop. I found out I wasn't using premium gas (apparently, a higher octane rating isn't the same as premium), so I switched to Shell brand, and the noise and stuttering both went away. I'm at 4,500 miles and it's still smooth and quiet. 🤞So I noticed a weird knocking or clicking noise when I brake hard coming from underneath the drivers side floorboard. Almost like something is hitting something else. Car is brand new 300 miles on it. Anyone else experience this?
Interesting I just filled up with regular gas like the dealer said too. What kind of gas do you use?Yes, I had similar at about the 300 mile mark. Also regular (87 octane), but only from Shell. I used Speedway and Kroger in the beginning, but like I said earlier, the car started coughing and making a tapping noise that drove us nuts.Interesting I just filled up with regular gas like the dealer said too. What kind of gas do you use?
It was kind of nebulous, actually. At first, I thought it was the license plate frame rattling. I put some foam tape on the back, which didn't help, and had someone else listen from the outside while I drove through a parking lot. That person thought it was coming from under the driver's seat, but then it kind of sounded like it came from the rear axel, then back to the license plate area again. At no point did it sound like it was coming from the engine, which seems like the logical place for a fuel-related problem... But I don't know squat about cars, except how to make them go, so who knows. All I can say is: the problem seems to be gone!Alright I used bp to fill up last time I guess I’ll try Shell on my next fill up. Was the knocking noise coming from underneath the drivers side for you as well?
Alright sounds very similar to mine only thing your problem sounded like your noise was constant? Mines only when I brake moderately to hard. Brakes are working fine too. I’ll try the gas and see what happens. I’ll post the results here when I fill up thanks for responding. 👍🏻Correction to my previous post: I

Hey, there! Did you ever find out what was causing your knocking sound?Alright sounds very similar to mine only thing your problem sounded like your noise was constant? Yea I did I’m so annoyed at myself for not checking. It was a cup holder stuck under my seat right between two pieces of metal and that was causing the noise ever time u would brake.Hey, there! Did you ever find out what was causing your knocking sound?
