Every time I lock my car when I go to a shopping center or at night in my driveway it makes that long beep as if I'm beeping at somebody. I've had a lot of people turn around and look at me like I was beeping at them or trying to get their phone number. Is there a way to just make it sound like a chirp or cut out the long beep or do I have to turn the horn off completely there should be more options.

Are you pressing the Lock button on your key fob? Do you know you don't have to do that to lock the doors?

Touch the divot on the front door handle. Assuming your vehicle has the Keyless Entry.
