You can't lock the doors until all the doors are closed. I had a hard time getting used to this as all my other cars would let me lock the doors even if one of the doors is open but not in the Tucson.
Yeah I have a habit as I am getting out of vehicle hitting lock button inside car. Then I shut driver door and all doors locked. Can’t due this with new Tucson. Ugh.... I came specifically to this forum to ask this very question of the 2023 Tucson. ALL of my previous cars have had that option - push the button on the inside of the door - lock the car - close the door, done. But now I always have to have the fob in my hand or nearby to lock the car?? It certainly was an inconvenience last night, when I had to go back inside - grab the fob and come back out to lock the car with it. Not a fan, nor am I understanding the reason for this "feature."Yeah I have a habit as I am getting out of vehicle hitting lock button inside car. Then I shut driver door and all doors locked.
