Hi! Does anyone have a maintenance spreadsheet (either excel or Google sheets) for the Tucson hybrid SEL?

The dealer said the warranty is only valid if the car is serviced by Hyundai on its regular schedule. Just want to keep track of the maintenance.

Thank you!

Public service announcement - You do not have to have Hyundai service your car to keep the warranty. That would be against what the general the Law is in the U.S.
Maybe they did say that, more I think they meant the service has to be performed pretty much by the schedule, not that Hyundai has to do it.

I will have Hyundai do the service for the near future at the least, by my choice.

That would be the Magnuson-Moss act, they can require that the service is done but they can’t require you to have it done at any particular place. The dealer who said this is very shady and is flat out lying.

I made this one in about 5 mins for the non-hybrid. Feel free to copy the format and change the info for the hybrid models. I have the excel files elsewhere at the moment.

Thank you! Apparently the dealer has a separate warranty program. As long as the scheduled maintenance is done at the dealership, they will cover up to $150 per tire or $600 for a set of 4 when the tires reach a tread depth of 3/32 of an inch AND "Lifetime Engine Warranty".

With every car manufacturer there's going to be, A.) their own oem warranty, along with B.) any number of 3rd party warranty subscriptions, whether legitimate, recognized, well reviewed, or, not, and then the dealer's own bespoke 'warranty' if so offered and covering their preferred collection of specifically listed items catering to their own comfort for risk and customer bases' preferences.

This sounds like a case of the last type. If this dealer agrees to provide you a written full copy of their 'warranty' for your review before purchase, then you may consider it of potentially great benefit to you and others to post it for review, scrutiny and feedback by the many individuals who've experienced car ownership warranty coverages, claims and services over the decades.
