Thank you! Apparently the dealer has a separate warranty program. As long as the scheduled maintenance is done at the dealership, they will cover up to $150 per tire or $600 for a set of 4 when the tires reach a tread depth of 3/32 of an inch AND "Lifetime Engine Warranty".
With every car manufacturer there's going to be, A.) their own oem warranty, along with B.) any number of 3rd party warranty subscriptions, whether legitimate, recognized, well reviewed, or, not, and then the dealer's own bespoke 'warranty' if so offered and covering their preferred collection of specifically listed items catering to their own comfort for risk and customer bases' preferences.
This sounds like a case of the last type. If this dealer agrees to provide you a written full copy of their 'warranty' for your review before purchase, then you may consider it of potentially great benefit to you and others to post it for review, scrutiny and feedback by the many individuals who've experienced car ownership warranty coverages, claims and services over the decades.
