So the cluster has a fixed instant mpg meter, along with either current drive or current tank average? Either way say I have an average of 40 and I intentionally keep the instant mpg above 40....say 45....the average drops. Not much at all...but if anything it should go up. Almost as if the instant mpg is skewed 5 or 10 or maybe even more mpg. I imagine a simple programming fix. It'd be very helpful to know what specific actions helps get us a few more mpg and an accurate instant mpg is vital.
