Yes and yes. Works great. I use this music source daily.
Thanks! Takes a load off my mind.Yes and yes. Works great. I use this music source daily.
Yes, I have the same concern with you! Thought I can live without a USB-C port as I love all the rest of it, but really, for a top-trim car, only 1 USB port for data???! btw, that makes it even dizzy to have a wireless charger w/o wireless AA, AP .... 😂Yes but with respect to the USB ports in this car, I'm annoyed about 2 things:
OK, rant over!
- Why are all the charging ports are only USB-A, not USB-C supporting Power Delivery ... really Hyundai, in a car that's supposed to represent the epitome of Technology?!!
- Why ONLY a single port that supports data, even in the top trim?!! If I connect my phone for projection (AA or ACP), I can no longer play music from a USB stick. Other cars I've had including a 2008 Infiniti EX35 and my current 2016 BMW 340i have a built-in drive where I can store my music ... I'm not even asking for that, just for the other front USB port to support data!!!

Is this just me? 🤷♂️
There are dongles available from Carsifi, Motorola, etc. that enable wireless AA on the top level trim models. Of course they occupy the one and only data port.Yes, I have the same concern with you! Not sure where you're getting your information my friend, but the manual for my 10" Infotainment systems says on page 10-14, that NTFS is supported (along with FAT16 and exFAT) ... possibly, the 8" head unit is different:Yes, the drive just needs to be formatted as FAT32. I don't believe that NTFS can be read. I have not tried any FLAC files, but i doubt they will play.
It's the one on the left. How big is your flash drive? Maybe too big or formatted incorrectly?I have the limited version,......I hve tried both USB ports in the dash area,......can't get my USB music flash drive to even be recognized,......where is the single data port located? Any way to get my music to play?? Thanks in advance!
The port to be used is the left-hand one below the centre stack, marked data.I have the limited version,......I hve tried both USB ports in the dash area,......can't get my USB music flash drive to even be recognized,......where is the single data port located? Any way to get my music to play?? Thanks in advance!
Any chance you can link me to such a product?Just a thought why not just a USB A multi port dongle would solve your issues
Thanks Alan,......it is a 32GB drive,...also, tried my 8GB drive,...neither would play. They had no issues playing in my Sportage though! Just thought it would be the same type of reading system,....guess I was wrong!?It's the one on the left. How big is your flash drive? Maybe too big or formatted incorrectly?

It should work. Maybe there's an issue with your car. Thanks Alan,......it is a 32GB drive,...also, tried my 8GB drive,...neither would play. They had no issues playing in my Sportage though! Just thought it would be the same type of reading system,....guess I was wrong!?
That is what I was thinking too, Alan,.....Thanks!It should work. Maybe there's an issue with your car.
Alan
So,...what you're saying here, is,....only can read one port at at time? Plug in just one item,...see if it registers?I've just tried a multiport USB device. The car only sees the first flash drive in the system. I had two flash drives and my phone plugged in - it ignored the others.
So, don't waste your money.
