Well- after my first visit to this board and my brand new 22 Tucson in the driveway, I am afraid to drive it. Reading about all the jerking problems has made me so sad. We just got out of a Jeep Cherokee that jerked from the first day. I put with it for seven years. I believe we have a three day return option. After an hour reading this board - I am tempted to invoke that. We did not buy the CRV cause of the gas/oil issue but that is so prevalent, the dealers can no longer ignore it. This issue being discussed here sounds like Hyandai dealers not too responsive.

Congratulations on your new Tucson!
I dont believe the jerking that some of are experiencing is a wide spread problem, so enjoy your new ride.
I had to laugh when you said your Jeep Cherokee had a jerking problem since I was wishing that I should have purchased the Jeep Cherokee that I compared to the Tucson!!
Makes me feel a little better now! Lol

You generally hear only the complaints/concerns on the forum. I have had no issues whatsoever - especially no "jerkiness".

Thank you very much for your kindness in replying. My Jeep Cherokee had a magnificent interior, NO room in the back seat, drove in snow like a champ and the electronic system that controls the engine failed at 63,000 miles. I did not want to let it go, but we were looking at thousands of dollars in repairs. Thank you again.
I will return here for sure!!
