Not I
Mine is doing exactly that and the dealer says it’s my home connection. What happened with you?Has anyone with a PHEV had an issue where the check engine light is on and the charging port blinks red for a few seconds but the charge doesn’t start?
its 100% NOT my outlet.
Any ideas?
Only happen at your outlet? I would think that's the issue. Otherwise a problem with the car charging port?Has anyone with a PHEV had an issue where the check engine light is on and the charging port blinks red for a few seconds but the charge doesn’t start?

i was told by the dealer that my house was the issue, but it did not charge on their charepoint chargers or the dealer charger after as well. they placed an order and got a replacement charging port, it took 2 months and once replaced, it has been working fine ever since. The dealer's service manager (oakville hyundai in GTA) even had the audacity to say it was a one time favour they were doing for me. i caused a scene because they gave me a garbage product and put the blame on me, but soon realized they just dont care. they will probably do the same with you but be firm and have all the documentation (pictures and video) of the issues you are facing.Wondering if you ever had a resolution to your charging issue. We bought a 22 Tucson PHEV last January and only recently started to have issues with charging. The regular wall charger would sometimes just not charge the car, or charge it way slower than normal. We hired an electrician to install a proper wall charger in our garage because we live in Québec and there's solid rebates here... Worked great for a bit but then a check engine light came on one time. I used an odb reader and found the code to be related to the ev charger circuit. Sometimes the car charges, other times it doesn't. Today, I noticed the red light on the car itself by the charge port (that's how I came across your post). Really hoping the dealership doesn't try and tell me it's the chargers fault because this is two chargers now that have had issue (plus an identified code error in the car itself).
