What is the last photo everyone took of their Tucson?

White, simple, understated, and elegant. One of the few times it's been seen around town without the normal coating of dust on my tires. My dirt road renders them as white-walls mot of the time. Blow up the pic and you can see the blue pin stripes and rotors: they kinda get washed out in the photo due to sunshine.

The neat thing about the HEV is you can just get in it, adjust the seat and mirrors, and drive away--OR you can dig in and really tailor the car to fit your specific needs. I spent 2 (mostly happy) weeks after delivery digging into the manuals, attaching sticky notes, then going to the car and trying them out!
I will say, having spent a decade or so editing technical documents, that the Tucson manuals are disappointing to me. I do not consider them to be user-friendly, especially in the way they are organized--it's impossible to tell which trim/model any page or paragraph refers to without backtracking (sometimes many pages) to find a section header. The Index is very skimpy, and don't get me started on the Infotainment manual.
The .pdf version is even more of a disgrace: no index at all, and there is NO excuse for not having actual links for every table of contents entry. Given a full-up version of Adobe Acrobat (sadly, I forfeited mine when I retired), I could fix it in a few days.

The first and so far last photo I took of my new Tucson. It was the day I picked it up from the dealer. I haven't taken any more photos since then, although I still enjoy looking at the car. The colour is "Teal Blue", unfortunately not available in North America.

If you only have one pic, you may as well just take the loss and trade it for something else now. That’s like only having one photo of your newborn child. 😉

I was taking pictures of mine before I even before I bought it. My Tucson I mean.
We just got ours on Wednesday. A lot to learn. All this hybrid stuff is new to me. View attachment 3403
People are actually saying it’s best just to figure things out as you go. Just do whatever feels natural.

If that color was avail in the US I would have ordered it. Looks great

Hmmmm...after I posted my picture, I noticed something strange. In the picture below, why is one panel in the grill below the tag blank--no horizontal bars?

The equivalent panel on the driver's side has crossbars (as do all the others), but not this one. Once you notice it, it kind of sticks out.
I would get down and look underneath to see if I can see some practical reason for the difference, but recurring vertigo in my old age pretty much rules that out. Any ideas? Or is it just Hyundai quirky style?
Edit: Maybe a better question is why is the equivalent panel on the driver's side open and with the bars?
