About 4 weeks ago I traded in my 2020 Tuscan for a 2022 Tuscan. After about 2 weeks of owning it I started to hear small creaks and pops coming from the area around and above the LED instrument cluster. No rattles or squeaks anywhere in the whole car . But when the sun hits the top of the dashboard it will intermittently creak and pop. Same thing when a cloud passes over head or the road curves and the dashboard is suddenly shaded. It will creak and pop as the plastic contracts.
Anyone else notice this or is it just my car? My 2020 was totally silent.
It's not loud but in a car this quiet it's driving me nuts

Ya know, I hear the same thing from time to time as well. I think it's the HVAC vent system within the dash adjusting the vent flow based on ambient temperature. I hear the same vent adjustment in my RX350. If I remember correctly, my Veloster made the same noises. Anyway, that's what I attribute those creaking sounds to.

UPDATE: Took the car to the dealership and had them install a noise kit in the dash. At least part of the dash. Most of the creaking, ticks and pops were from sunlight warming the dashboard and the LED instrument cluster module was binding against where the top of it meets the dashboard. Only get an occasional small tick or pop now. 70% quieter. Now it's tolerable.

How much that cost you?

Can you tell me what dealership? Mine says that haven't heard of it.

I have intermittent thermal creaks as well that are more noticeable in cold weather. I would like to remove the trim piece under the gauge cluster and slacken the display mounting screws but I am afraid of damaging the soft plastic doing so.
The creaking is definitely coming from the cluster area.

I hear the same sound, at first only when warming up the cabin, and now when crossing bumps on the road and when I start and stop the vehicle. I tried with silicone spray but it didn't work.
The display crackles even when you press your fingers in the corners. Today I sent a message to HYUNDAI EU and I expect a response
