Hello there!
First post here, I am in Canada and the owner of the new 2024 Tucson N-Line HEV! But this is not my first Tucson since it replace a 2022 Tucson N-Line with the 2.5L that I appreciated mostly, except for the performance of the 2.5L engine who's so underpowered.
So last winter here in Canada, on the 2022, I haven't installed TPMS valves in my second wheel set (for winter) and had error message all winter, pretty annoying but not a big deal, no other issues.
This year I decided to install TPMS valve before putting the wheels on the 2024 to make "things right", so I purchased a set of compatible 52940-L1100 sensors on Amazon, which is the correct PN# according to Hyundai for all 2021+ hyundai to current.
So far I've installed my second wheel set two days ago, I first drove about 30 minutes then the "Check tire pressure monitor" error light turned on. Then next day another 25ish minutes yesterday and the TPMS haven't relearned so far.
My other car is a 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Premier and on GM's cars the process is super straight forward and clear... you put the car in "TPMS LEARN MODE" right into the vehicle settings, then you take a 10$ "TMPS Trigger Tool" on Amazon and you do one wheel after each other and that's it, BAM! Took me laterally 30 seconds to program TPMS on my Chevy Bolt. I hoped it's that simple on the Hyundai.
So how do I told my Tucson to "relearn" the second set of TPMS valves? Maybe I just don't drove far away enough to let the system relearn itself??
Thanks a lot!!!
Here's a quick photo of my own "cars fleet" to introduce myself!
