Hi all, as my car is going to arrive and I want to book the front and rear rubber floor mats for it. However, the sales in dealership told me there were no suitable floor mats for it in the accessories store. If anyone is driving this with rubber floor mats to recommend? Thanks a lot~ :)

WeatherTech has mats for the 2022. I don’t know about availability in Canada.

I bought the WeatherTech front and rear mats (I am in Alberta). The fit my PHEV pretty good, the only difference is that the back one piece mat is a little too high in the center. I assume that is because the PHEV has a different design in the back seat for the larger batteries.

I am happy with the fit of both the front and the rear.

I also looked at the Tuxmat but when I emailed them, they are still in development on mats specifically for the PHEV, they do have regular and hybrid mats, just like Weathertech.

Nice, that sounds great! 👌
Just got a set of Smartliner all weathers for my HEV. Haven’t had time to check fit yet. Uncertain if they fit the PHEV. Less expensive than the WeatherTech and get good reviews.

check the hyundai canada website build and price for accessories - there are premium liners available - please let me know if you cannot find them.
Lol. I wont let you build and price any of the tucson hybrids. I guess they all sold out.
Alink to the accessories will be appreciated.

The Weathertec mats fit pretty well and even have a cool blue Hyundai nameplate on them. we have them in ours, ordered them with the car.
I like these Husky ones but waiting on them to be developed. It has a soft rubber feel instead of the hard plastic which I like.

So I'm a bit curious about how you find the fit because for Tuxmat they even have warning that their Hybrid mats don't fit the PHEV, so I am suprised that the weather tech ones would!

Otherwise, has anyone tried the available Hybrid cargo mats from Weather tech or tuxmat in their plug in hybrid?

So I called Tuxmat and they confirmed that the Hybrid mats do not fit the plug in hybrid. In fact, they had some people buy the hybrid ones for their PHEV and received complaints about the fit.

They said they are finalizing work on the PHEV version and are hoping to have it ready something like 4 to 6 weeks from now if things go well!

I will probably just put down some crappy old blankets everywhere, be extra vigilant, and wait for the properly sized ones to come out for the PHEV!

I will try calling the dealer soon to see if the Hyundai ones would come any sooner but they are also way more expensive!

Hope so! Although that's the same thing they told me 2mo ago ;)

I think its good to keep asking them .... just so they know there is a demand for it.

I contacted Tux today by email (as of Mar 10, 2022) and here is the their reply :

Thank you for reaching out. Mats for the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Plug-in Hybrid are still in development, as new prototype mats had to be made. We don't have an ETA yet for their availability, since the prototypes still have to be successfully test fitted. When that's happened, the mats will go into production and we'll have a better idea of their availability at that time. You'll receive an email alert when they're in stock.
Thank you for your patience as we wait for them to arrive. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Take care,

Congrats for your purchase hope you enjoy it :)

As for the floor liners, I'm on Tux Mats mailing list and still no news from Tux. In my case, its as bas since Hyundai delivered my car with the wrong PHEV OEM carpet mats since day 1.
They shipped my car with the HEV mats and I'm still waiting and waiting from my dealership to get this straight since almost 3 months !

Thanks for the update! I ended up using my all weather mats from the 21 venza i sold. All of them fit fine except the driver’s side of course. The ocd part of me needs matching ones.

I did finally break down and bought a set of trimmable Motor Trend ones off Amazon. Of course the fit is horrible and I shudder every time I look at them (fellow OCD'r lol) and felt like a waste of money knowing I'd eventually toss them but figured it was better than destroying the carpet while waiting around for the proper PHEV ones to eventually be released. Not sure I'd exactly recommend that route but I was desperate.
Thinking about it in hindsight what I probably should have done is order just a set of proper FRONT ones (which to my understanding are perfectly fine and cross compatible along the Tucson lines; it's only the rear that poses the fit issues) and then used some cheap ones for the rear for now and then later ordered just the Rear once they get it figured out. More expensive individually than if you buy as a Front/Rear combo set, but since I paid for the other Amazon set too that really won't be good to anyone else since I cut it up probably still a better option.
