Tucson Vibration

Hi,

I have a 2022 Hybrid SEL, did anyone experience vibration on your seats and center console when going above 60 mph? I felt it as soon as I took delivery of the vehicle.. I also feel light pulsing when going at lower speed. Could it be the tires or the worse case the driveshaft or coupler?

Any comments are welcomed.
Thank you

Speed-dependent vibration is usually tire balance. If you feel it through your butt it's usually one of the rear tires. If you feel it through the steering wheel, it's usually one of the front tires.

Do you know if the Hyundai dealers would perform a road force balance or just the regular balance?
If your car is under warranty the dealer should do whatever it takes to make the car right, whether they perform the service themselves or have another shop do it.
For the OP, you may want to check any crossover with issues and the couple-few discovered fixes in this thread:

I had the same problem. They replace the transfer case
That TSB does not apply to Hybrid Tucsons.

Currently having the same issue, even after having all 4 wheels rebalanced at the dealership. The vibration is still there above 120kmh. Hopefully it's not the transfer case.

At what speed did you started feeling the vibration? My dealers are telling me they don’t feel anything which is quite annoying..

Speeds above 115kmh (70 mph). The service manager and mechanic went for a drive and the both said there is definitely a vibration . They opened a case file with Hyundai. Hyundai's response was "Why is he driving 120kmh"? Which the service manager said was a ridiculous reply.
The mechanic was then told to remove the trailer hitch to see if it was causing any wind disturbance. So he did and it obviously wasn't the hitch. They are waiting for further direction from Hyundai. They mentioned swapping out drivetrain components and if that doesn't work they would start the process for a buy back. Other than the annoying vibration the vehicle has been great.

Yes have the same year and car and my car does the same shakes at higher speeds . Just bought it and now it’s at the dealer for them to inspect the issue.

Did your dealer come up with a fix for your vibration issue?
No not yet they just balanced the tires which didn’t work . It’s been very frustrating!

I've touched top speed. At almost 200kmh my car performed perfectly, no vibration.
My Tucson is so solid and stable at high speeds.
As mentioned above wheel balancing is the most common culprit,

My 2022 Hyundai Tucson still has front end vibration at highway speeds and the Hyundai dealer has found nothing wrong . Very discouraging!
