Tucson Wheels

I'm curious to know what everyone thinks of the wheel design Hyundai has selected for the Tucson??

I personally don't care for the design. I think with such a new design, this was a bit risky...IMHO!

I did not like the Wheel design for Limited Trim
They are the easiest wheels to clean that I ever had on a car. I think they look good, I just don't understand why so many manufacturers make these asymmetrical style wheels. The first time I noticed it was on my son's CRV , now a lot more manufacturers are doing this.

Which wheel design? There are 3 in the US and even more in other markets. I really like my 17s. My favorite is the 18s that some Euro markets get.

That was my least favorite aspect of the new design (at least visually, I'm a little nervous to see how well I adjust to all touch controls for hvac/infotainment). My wife called them the cheese graters lol (and a funny side note doing a google image search for Salad Shooters (plural) results in mostly wheels - I expect to see the Tucson hitting this list)

Yes, those are the ones. I like the flat contour, rather than dished out or deep spoke wheels but the spaces in the wheel are not symmetrical so the wide edge faces the front of the car on the driver side of the car and toward the rear on the passenger side. I'm not too obsessive compulsive, am I ha?

Yes mine is a "Blue" also. The taller tires help a little to prevent curb rash, and make the ride a little softer.
That is a nice red. IMHO it is the best color for the car. Mine is white, my wife likes the metallic look of the white.
I have the Phantom Black, which looks amazing . Now to black out the silver trim....

I don't care for those wheels too much. The NLine has nicer wheels in my opinion.

They're too "busy" for me. To each their own.

I do like them better than the Limited's (although that Web looks like it could be challenging to clean) - they are at least symmetrical and non-directional (like Mungo544 pointed out it bothers me that they don't "face" the same direction on one side vs the other, pointing to the front on the passenger and to the rear on the driver - interesting seeing his description I think of the direction of the "pointing" differently lol)

I think those actually look pretty sharp (still suffer from the directionality problem though)

Sticking with the 19s, or looking at 18/17?
I like the way they look. They remind me of flowers or pinwheels.
