Unlock doors when in Parking mode

I have bought new 2022 Tucson SEL Gas version few days ago. I am trying to familiar with features. I am confused with door locks. Generally there are door locks manually operate at Handle inside door. But this doesn't have those. Other thing is As soon as I get the shifter to parking mode the doors and get unlocked. Are there any settings I need to change to avoid this? Since I mostly travel with kids so they open the door immediately after car park.

You really need to take time and read the manual to see what setting there are for that, and other ways to prevent the rear doors from being opened. You didn't say if you have any packages added or not that would change features.

I'm also not quite sure what you are asking about locking/unlocking. Do you have keyless start and entry? If so it's all done by touch for lock and putting hand on handle with slight pull to unlock.

I got the SEL Premium package. My question is after the car is stopped and changed to parking mode the doors get unlocked automatically even the car engine doesn't stop.

You can just have the rear doors not open from inside talked about in the manual. Or, it's in the Cluster controls you can turn off any doors unlocking automatically.

On my tucson (UK model) there is a small keyway on the inside of each rear door (you will need the rear doors open to see these), these are child locks that prevent the door being opened from the inside when activated by turning with a small key of screwdriver

A child safety lock is on the rear edge of each rear door. You must set the child safety lock separately on each door. Turn the key clockwise to switch the child lock on and counter clockwise to switch it off. Turn the key counter clockwise to switch the child lock on and clockwise to switch it off.
