This is the second time, same tire, right rear, warning! low tire pressure! on and on and on. So I go to the tire ship and have 35# of pressure put in, over what is recommended, and guess what? Warning, low pressure! Does anyone know how to turn this off? I'm worn out from seeing and hearing it on my dash. At times I enjoy having my tires at lower pressure, softer ride, although I have kept them 33#, which is above where I would normally, and haven't changed the pressure since I've owned the Tucson.

What does the pressure read on your dashboard display for each tire? If the number is low, it is probably the sensor on the wheel If it reads the correct pressure, that could be the computer or the sensor on the car. You might be able to check that by swapping tires to a different position. Either way, it should be corrected under warranty.

Just to emphasize, there is a TPMS sensor inside the tire, underneath the valve stem. Your dealer, or any tire shop, can replace that sensor.

I understand the sensors on individual tires, this same tire was the culprit before, with the Warning! and beeps. I had it overfilled at Discount before and this time again, the same warning was still apparent, and the reading for each tire was 33 33 33 32, and 1 damn pound of pressure should not set off a warning, it's aggravating.

I think there is also a sensor on the car that communicates with the sensor in the wheel. Either could be the problem and covered under the warranty. A tire shop could charge you $100.00 or more to replace the sensor and still not solve the problem. https://tirehungry.com/how-much-does-cost-to-replace-tire-pressure-sensor/
Thanks, I'm doing my best Not to take the car in, don't like cooling my heels at some dealership while they screw around with the car, just me I suppose.

Since the display is showing the correct pressure , the sensor on the wheel might not be the problem. Unless your car is a hybrid, you could try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to see if it resets the system.

This is on me. I finally took it in to Discount Tire, and they found a nail in the right rear, it hasn't alerted me since.
Rule #1: ALWAYS believe your instrumentation and follow appropriate emergency procedures, until further analysis proves otherwise…It’s the same whether flying an aircraft, operating a nuclear power plant, or driving a car…

Glad to hear that there isn’t an issue with your vehicle!
