Weathertech mats for PHEV

Now that I have a 2023 Ultimate PHEV on order, I've started looking at things like good winter floor mats. I currently have Weathertech mats in my other vehicles and want to get them for the Tucson as well.

On the Weathertech site, they show mats available for the Hybrid but nothing for the PHEV. I'm wondering if it's just because they haven't been able to do their 3D scanning of the PHEV yet or if there are any actual differences between the HEV and PHEV that would mean the mats designed for the HEV wouldn't fit the PHEV.

Anybody know?

There's enough tiny differences in the fit that would not allow you to just buy the HEV floor mats. I believe the backseat floor is taller or shorter and there's a difference in the driver side foot rest/door that makes them not fit. I believe other companies are getting closer to make one for the PHEV, but Weathertech was promising them soon as well.

I bought the WeatherTech HEV floor mats for my PHEV. The front fit with a small adjustment to the hole on the mats lining up with the tab. The Rear mats fill but the mat is a bit higher than the hump in the middle of the back. They do work and you almost not know they were not for a PHEV.

Thanks! They look like they fit well. I don’t know what’s so different wiht the phev other than maybe the back ones. At the minimum for now I need front ones and those look fine. What did you have to do with the hook/ latch to make it work?
I had to just make the holes a bit bigger on the mat so that they would be able to go over the floor hook. Was super simple. The back ones fit fine other than the hump in the centre of the back seat must be lower in the PHEV but again it doesn't really make a difference to how they fit or look.

Can't answer on the PHV, or the 2023, but I do have the Weather Tech mats except for the cargo as they don't have them, I did just buy the cargo mats from TuxMat. From the photos, I think I am going to like their mats a little better. They don't have any in stock for the 22 PHEV, and don't have the 23 even listed, but you can sign up to be notified when they have them in stock.

On the Weathertech site, enter 2022 and you will get the PHEV floormats. I just got my Tucson Plug-In 2 days ago and the mats, which I had preordered, fit very well but not perfectly. Well enough tho.

Costco offers Phantom floor liners for PHEV and HV, they are exactly same as tuxmat (made by tuxmat). Only different branding, but if you turn them over, it says TUXMAT. Also Cheaper
