Nothing serious, just more of a curiosity.

My park assist engages when stopped behind pickup trucks but it's just fine behind other vehicles at the same distance.

Only time it really "bothers" me is when I'm deep into a podcast or a good song and everything gets quiet until I disengage park assist. Stop and go traffic is when it gets extra annoying.

It's not even really a thing of concern. I just really like to know how things work.

I have the same problem with pick up trucks, vans and some SUV’s. It thinks you want to park when you are not moving. Weird

Me too. I was thinking it was reflection from a larger vehicle triggering the sensors.

LOL... okay I'm glad I'm in good company. I haven't had my Tucson long and this raised an eyebrow. Also... fair warning, if your Tucson barely fits your garage the way mine does, so that you have to side-step behind it unless the garage is open, you'll want to disable that sensing opener on the rear hatch. ;-)
