AC panel lights very dim

Hi, we've had our 2024 premium hybrid for a few weeks and love it except for one thing. The lights in the AC panel are really dim. I'm referring to the lights for the Auto fan speed, seat ventilation or heater, air circulation, etc. All the little orange lights across that panel. Basically while driving you can't just glance down to see what the setting is as the light is too dim. Asked at the dealership today when having the first service but was told that's just how it is. Our previous Tucson (2018 model) certainly wasn't. Any thoughts, or suggestions?

Yes, the lights for a/c, fan speed, etc. are way to dim and impossible to see with sunglasses on. The illumination control that does a nice job for the instrument panel is of no help, and I find nothing online except "that's the way it is." Some Hyundai engineer was asleep at the switch on this one. It is not only an annoyance but also a safety hazard. I wonder if they ever release software or firmware updates that might resolve the problem. Take note Hyundai - this is a big flaw in an otherwise pretty nice auto.

Agree 100%! My 2020 had blue lights that were really easy to see. These are terrible!!! Also, the two switches with yellow lights right in front of the cell phone charging pad on the Limited are barely visible during the day. I am REALLY surprised and disappointed in Hyundai Engineers on this one. Their attention to detail is usually terrific. Do their Engineers drive the cars? Did they conduct any customer focus/user groups during development? Real disappointment for an otherwise near perfect car.

If you look at the two switches for enabling engine start/stop and parking sensors, there is a bevel on the front of the switch facing the driver. That would have been the perfect place for the LEDs instead of on top of the switch where light comes through the windshield and drowns it out. Just saying...
