Bluelink SUCKS

Bluelink:
Wouldn't know, never used it, never will, and just don't care. My opinion: if Hyundai plans to charge me (eventually) to use it, I don't want it. I wish retailers had never come up with this idea. Sad that this is the "future" in so many ways. Like for example consider the service manual. A paper version doesn't exist as far as I know. Hyundai wants to hold yer wallet hostage with their mandated fee to access their online version. They're not alone, everybody's doing it these days, and it irks me to no end.
EDIT: after reading Tampa's response below, I should add that he's right: seems the only way to create something like Onstar or Bluelink... and to defer its costs... is the user fee. Sort of like the turnpike I guess. That makes sense. It's probably the better way to do it, now that I think about it, rather than forcing everybody to pay for it in the form of a more expensive car, or in the case of toll roads, higher taxes perhaps. Unfortunately, the concept is catching on to all sorts of other venues and I fear that one day we'll be paying a toll or subscription for everything. And so it goes: guess we'll all just have to get used to the idea.
