I had a whistle sound and at first I thought it was EMI from the wireless charger getting into the audio amplifier. Sounded to me like it was coming from the speaker. The second time I heard it, I thought crossbars. Sure enough, the dealer installed the crossbars in the wrong location, but not backwards. Hyundai cossbars have some side to side measurement assist sliders underneath. If you you don't close them they leave an open slot underneath. They are on both sides of the car for centering the crossbars. My front crossbar was also about 4-5 inches too far forward, but the back was within the right range. After I corrected, haven't heard it since and the root cause could have been those sliding measurement things were not closed making mine sound like an out of tune piccolo section without the rest of the orchestra. All is well now.
If you have them on backwards the thin side would be forward. The correct orientation is fat side forward.

Here's the link;

Hope you get it fixed.

I am having Tuscon nline 2023, its been around 2 months with me now and it is giving crazy air cabin noise when driving above 80kmph, I have checked all the door and kept them locked perfectly but still those air annoying noise continues. i am even getting a cracky and vibrating noise from left twitter speakers when I play heavy bass music.

Did you take time to read what was posted already?

I have a '22 Hybrid SEL-C. I haven't owned a vehicle glass in the roof for over a decade, let alone a panoramic one. I found the cabin to be louder than I what I've been driving. Closing the shade helped dramatically. Throughout my 11 months and 10,000+ miles, I've gotten used to the wind noise.

As to the flapping noise, I also experience that from time to time. It's mostly at higher speeds and when the wind is in the right direction (either from the front or from the driver's side). My theory is that it's my front license plate, which has a slight bend in it on the driver's side. The front bracket only allows for the top to be secured. I've looked around the wheel wells and the engine bay to see if anything looked or felt loose. Other members of this forum have stated that a certain trim piece or bracket is often loose from the factory.
My wife has the 2022 Tucson SELand we also have that flapping noise exactly as you describe and I have no front license plate . It seems to start at 73 mph and up.
I’ve yet to locate where it’s coming from but it sounds like it’s in the drivers side mirror area but it’s not the mirror.

This is likely the answer from a thread all about that sound.
I didn’t want to wait for a service appointment so I got down on the ground to look under my Tucson hybrid blue at the plastic cover mentioned by Ron. There are about 3 plastic screws and some metal screws holding the plastic up. All the plastic screws were loose and a few metal ones also. I tightened them on both sides and have not heard the rattling after a week. Hoping that was the culprit. If you can wait, let the dealer take care of it. Took me awhile to get back up off the ground! Lol. Good luck!

I am having Tuscon nline 2023... i am even getting a cracky and vibrating noise from left twitter speakers when I play heavy bass music.
Tampa didn't address this one, so here goes... This is not normal and I'll bet that you have a speaker issue. I'd notify the dealer, and remember which songs cause the rattling. You want to be able to reproduce this situation at the dealership. Let us know what happens?

To those reading this forum and considering buying a new Tucson: most of us have no such issues. Actually, Tucsons have been routinely praised by "testers" for being ultra quiet inside. I know mine is: at low speeds, on bumpy roads, or at high speeds. It's been said that the new Tucson rivals just about any luxury compact SUV on the market, and that's saying a lot. That said, ALL cars have road noise at higher speeds, but I will say that my Tucson is quieter than both the new CRV and the CX5 that I tested.

I'm considering a 2023 Hybrid Limited Tucson but have seen many posts about how there is substantial cabin / outside air noise at higher speeds. Some even describe a flapping?

Curious to hear if other owners have issue with noise at higher speeds?
Have that exact car and the only road noise I hear is from the tires at high speed.

I got flagged as there'd been a reply to this thread, and wondered why I'd be 'Follow'-ing it. Come to find I has pitched in myself at the truck's only being 8 months old. All I can say is, a.) the wife don't like even the shade opened "who wants to have the sun shining on them?", much less the glass opened "who wants that wind blowing on them?", and b.) even the tires are notably quiet, - only a bit more "road feel" as I mentioned before vs. any real noise. Kinda an eerie quiet ride of those I've driven.
