Our 2023 Tucson hybrid is getting a stellar 24.5 mpg average after 10k miles, according to Hyundai it is acceptable and not their problem! I won’t support Hyundai in the future!
That is amazing. If our mileage changes, I will bring that to the table. The warm weather is a few months off, I hope things will be different. ThanksI have had my Limited Hybrid for over a year. I happy with the mpg. The Limited is the heaviest Tucson because of the heavy panoramic roof. When I drive in my gated community (30 mph ) , I have gotten over 50 mpg ( summer ). All in all I average about 37 mpg. Winter is not ideal for good mpg because the engine has to run to provide heat. ( use heated seats to avoid the engine coming on and not the heater.
They advertise 38 for both highway and city, so in essence when you are paying 10,000 more for a hybrid, “most people” should be able to get what they paid for.It seems your problem cause most people get over 32mpg 🤷
I'm not seeing that most people are not getting close to the estimate, done by the EPA. Estimate meaning maybe not with Winter blend gas, maybe not with winter contributing to less battery efficiency, how you drive, where you live etc etc etc. You can't treat that estimate as if it were some kind of guarantee. They advertise 38 for both highway and city, so in essence when you are paying 10,000 more for a hybrid, “most people” should be able to get what they paid for.
Yup mine to n hybrid system failure. Sell to carmaker only lost 1000 on mine bought Prius 53 mpg!!!!Our 2023 Tucson hybrid is getting a stellar 24.5 mpg average after 10k miles, according to Hyundai it is acceptable and not their problem! I won’t support Hyundai in the future!
Those new Prius models look nice, but they are not made for tall people or those who have passengers. Still, I was considering it until I found out about the much smaller size. Further, if the Prius infotainment system is the same as the new RAV4 and Tundra, it's also poor comparatively, as are the driver assistance features.Yup mine to n hybrid system failure. Lol $10K more, Limited Tucson hybrid cost $3,200 more than Limited non-hybrid.They advertise 38 for both highway and city, so in essence when you are paying 10,000 more for a hybrid, “most people” should be able to get what they paid for.
Not knocking that car, but comparing a small sedan car with nowhere near the capacity of a family crossover weighing some 700lbs less doesn't make sense. If that is what you wanted getting a Tucson was a mistake from the beginning. You are not alone I see posts where people bought "a hybrid" and treat them like they are all the same.Yup mine to n hybrid system failure. Sell to carmaker only lost 1000 on mine bought Prius 53 mpg!!!!
Right. As previously stated, I'll wait until spring and summer before I make a final decision. I am hearing mixed reviews at this point. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong.I'm not seeing that most people are not getting close to the estimate, done by the EPA. Another component - if some get a more than the estimate, and some get less, the car may be getting about the estimate because that's how it works. In Florida alot of people will likely get at or above the estimate, in New England maybe at or less.
Whaatt? And the lemon law?Yup mine to n hybrid system failure. Sell to carmaker only lost 1000 on mine bought Prius 53 mpg!!!!
Danco. You mis-spelled Winners again. You really need to work on that. Of course, since you drive a toy-yoda it probably won’t improve. 😂🤣😂What I've noticed most about Hybrid owners is what a bunch of whiners you all are...
Wanna trade for my 2004 4Runner? I get 16 mpg...
Been having the same issue and so sick of people suggesting it’s driver error. Owned many cars and hybrids and always got suggested mpg I will say that my mpg went up to 30 last week when I tried smart mode instead of eco.Our 2023 Tucson hybrid is getting a stellar 24.5 mpg average after 10k miles, according to Hyundai it is acceptable and not their problem! People were pointing out your logical fallacies as well. You keep glossing over that. Did you try any of the things people have suggested here to narrow down the issue, for example? There could be a problem with the car, but you came out of the gate with bad logical arguments so it's hard to tell if you are really the easy driver you claim to be. I really hope all of you get the performance you're hoping for.Been having the same issue and so sick of people suggesting it’s driver error. Wow...we routinely get 44 in town and 37 out on the highway with both of our 2022 Tucson Hybrid Limited cars. Can I ask, did you sell a 2023, and if so to whom? Private buyer or Dealer. Although mine is only days old, I too would sell it and walk away from Hyundai forever!Yup mine to n hybrid system failure. Sell to carmaker only lost 1000 on mine bought Prius 53 mpg!!!!

So, we are whiners for stating our results! I purchased my 2023 tucson hybrid blue because of the ADVERTISED 38/38 MPG. I didn't see anything about must drive 50mph on a Highway, going down hill with a tailwind, no spare tire, driving barefoot, with only 1/2 tank if gas after you've driven 12,001 miles. I exaggerate but I'm not far off, you get the idea. if the MPG was tested and in the real world then we, the whiners, wouldn't have anything to whine about. I have 2,400 mile on mine and get only 27.8mpg on a 55° day going 65pmh. Yes, i know I should be driving at 50mph....that wouldn't be a Highway!!!What I've noticed most about Hybrid owners is what a bunch of whiners you all are...

Funny how all the whiners just ignore all of us who are getting the advertised or better MPG.So, we are whiners for stating our results! I've had two hyundai Elantras and and I always could reached the advertised mpg after the first 500-700 miles, summer, fall, winter, or spring. I drove 65-70mph, i carried a spare tire, a passenger, and a full tank of gas....
Maybe Hyundai need to list summer and winter MPG.
I can't see how my MPG is going to jump from 28/27 to something close to 38/38 by the temperature raising to 60, 70° or does it need to got to 92.5°?
Well, enough whining for now, but anytime anyone asks how I like my new car, I'm sure they check the 2023 tucso Hybrid off their list if they're looking for a fuel efficient car.
I think everyone want to make decisions on accurate info from the manufacturer.
