Noticed that rear right passenger tire lost psi by 8 pts compared to other three. I filled to 35 psi again last evening and noticed it lost 5 psi this morning.
So there could a puncture i guess. Question is, would dealer cover this as this a 2023 Tucson SEL bought in Dec '2022 under regular tire warranty, or should i goto a tire shop to get it checked!?

Sounds like you picked up a nail or a screw. Take it to a tire shop...

Your OEM tire warranty covers only manufacturer defects, not punctures or road hazards. When you buy your next set of tires, you can get free flat repair, free tire rotation, and extra road hazard coverage from the tire dealer. The good news is that OEM tires are bottom-of-the-barrel (even if they're well-known brands/models), and likely won't last but 30,000 miles. Your next tires (even same brand/model) will be much better!

Here’s another thought for those considering going to a dealer for this. If indeed they find that there’s a nail in the tire or some such thing, they are going to charge you to fix it. It’s not likely that their price will be less than a local tire shop. That said, you’re not going to stand there and say, "Thank you for finding the nail, I think I’ll take it somewhere else." Most people will just pay the money and be done with it. Well, why not just go to the tire shop in the first place?

I might be the exception, but I had a simple nail flat on my Santa Fe a few years ago. I removed the wheel and took it to the dealer, only because they were considerably closer than a tire shop. Having it off the car and bringing in just the wheel probably made a difference, but they just did a quick plug repair and didn't charge me anything. The repair held air just fine.

? Tires are never under the car company warranty it does make sense. They are not going to pay for a nail in the tire just as they are not going to pay for an accident or something you do to the car.
You DO have a limited warranty from the tire company you got the paperwork with the car.

You should have had the tire looked at, more than just put air in it. A real tire place will use soap or some method to see if there is a slow leak, if they can't see an obvious reason.
