We decided on a trip from Kirkheaton, Yorkshire to the museum at RAF Cosford a couple of weeks ago.

On the way back up the M1 there were long stretches with a 50 mph limit and Average Speed Cameras.

I noticed at the side of the posted speed limit and actual speed limit there was also and average speed icon on the map.

I assumed it was warning me of the cameras but it actually changed as I hit slow traffic and then speeded up when I could go at 50.

I assume it was in the upgrade as I have never seen it before.

The visit was fascinating by the way if you are in the area.

When I called BlueLink Customer Service yesterday about my update to my 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited Hybrid , i inquired about the Sport apps, they told me it was not ready for it yet, Also, is anyone else tuscon displaying gas prices for nearest gas stations under HD Radio data.
Ok, the Sports App isn't out yet. I don't care about it anyway. But at least get rid of the irritating message about it that seems to be a permanent resident of the Infotainment system now:

C'mon, Hyundai...get your act together!

It finally finished installing after I got home and shut the car down for the night. Over the past week, I really haven't noticed any problems with the system. My cordless CarPlay adapter still works, in fact it just might be more reliable than before. I also updated my iPhone to iOs 18 this week, which might have something to do with that as well.
I updated my phone to iOS18 the other day and now the CarPlay messages only works while USING CarPlay whereas before, even while using the onboard GPS Map in my 2023 Tucson Hybrid, I could see text alerts and reply to them whether I was in CarPlay or not. Anyone else seeing this same issue?

Yep. Me too. Annoying.

Finally got around to doing the latest update. It was close to an hour to download to USB, and then another 2 hours to upload to the car. I don't think this affected it but just as it was finishing I hit a notice on my phone that Bluelink had been updated. I assume that was just the phone app and no affect in the car. Of course then I get a message saying congrats on buying my new Tucson! I've only had it 2 1/2 years! Plus it wants me to complete the registration. What a load of bunk.

I updated my 2025 PHEV using a USB Drive as I just got the car and the map was out dated. The update went smooth and the map is much better. BUT this caused my voice recognition to stop working. When I push the button I get a message "Preparing Voice Recognition.....please wait" I did fill out the form on the navigation website and this is the response from Mapnsoft:

You would want to reach out to Hyundai Customer Care for Canada at: 1-888-216-2626. If you tell them that you spoke to us and our engineering team, and ask them to check the setting for the SHS flag, they should be able to resolve the issue. If this does not resolve the issue, you would have to visit your local dealership, as there may be something electronic in the car that is not working correctly in connecting to the server.

If you own a 2025 PHEV in Canada - I would not recommend updating until this is resolved.

EDIT - UPDATE - The September 11th navigation update is now available online also.

There are a couple of reports of 2024 Tucson Limited owners getting OTA system updates.

I don't see it listed on either Hyundai site yet for download.

Thank you for that info. My car let me know so I did it in there.😁

I received my Tucson hybrid (with ccNC Navigation) with old SW and map. When I asked, the dealer said upgrade would have happened automatically, if an applicable update would be available. Sad that they don't update or help in such situations. The time I receive the car is the time I know least about it...

I updated the SW and map, using the SW updater and creating an installer USB stick.
I did not sit in the car for an hour to update. Instead, I trusted when the car interface said "if engine will be turned off, update will continue next time".
So, keeping the USB stick connected, I used the car normally, all the time my car mentioning "preparing for an update".
Finally after 4-5 days, it was ready to update and all went well.
Hope this helps someone...
