I don't think you actually edited them to add that stuff - but at first glance, those look like the Christmas stuff was added.

I have a picture I took of one of my kiddos at NRG Park for a football game. It looks like they are standing in front of a green screen or something.

On another note. Mine might look like yours on Tuesday - not happy about that. I do think I talked my boss into shutting down because we suck at prepping roads, etc.
No editing but I did use portrait mode and night mode with my phone. Just thought it looked neat. And yes, the snow was not very fun and made me wish I had gotten AWD. It still did well though even on these southern streets.

Festive! Are those normal Christmas lights powered with an inverter? Or are made-for-the-car Christmas lights that run off the 12v battery a thing?
No wiring or inverter. Used regular AAA battery powered mini lights from Wal-Mart, used electrical tape around the battery pack, and strapped the pack to my crossbar using one of those velcro cable ties. Worked like a charm the entire time!

This much snow shut my area down. We do not have plows, there is ice under the snow because the sleet melted before it froze then snowed over it, and.. people cant drive in the rain here... Didn't drive into work and holding to the.. if my FWD can't pull me thru it. I don't need to be driving in it around here. The one time I got caught by semi surprise ice storm it did fine; got me home. This stuff will be gone tomorrow.

Also.. last pics of the car I took.

We got about 2.5 to 3 inches of snow/sleet/freezing rain almost 2 weeks ago in DFW. Even with TXDOT trying to keep the roads clear, re-freezing in the overnight hours made morning commuting hazardous. The word from TXDOT was “stay off the roads unless you absolutely must travel”, so we stayed at home until the ice mostly melted a couple days later.

I had to get to the office today - boss ignored the continued warnings to stay home if you can - even if I can work remotely. Most of the drive was ok.. DriveTexas was correct on where ice would be.. an overpass with a slight curve. Me and an Altima went across it and the Tucson tracked in what I think was more slush than frozen ice at that point. The Altima didn't follow that line and was sliding a bit more. I hate the stock tires in the rain but they don't seem too horrific on ice - for a non-winter tire. They did well in an ice storm last year and got me across that bridge with zero drama this morning. That should be gone before I have to drive over it again later today.

I had a 7:00am appointment for my 7,500-mile Maintenance Service/Inspection this morning. Sitting outside the local Hyundai dealership at 6:45, I waited patiently for someone to unlock and open the gate. The white specks/streaks are not image artifacts; they are 1/4" snowflake clusters swirling around in the light breeze, with the outside temp hovering around 24 degrees. I was able to catch one in my un-gloved hand and watched it melt. This sure beats the heck out of the last couple of days in north Texas, where overnight lows were in the mid-teens and wind chills were four to five degrees below zero.

WTH?? This is TEXAS; not Nebraska...

All the car wash businesses are closed because of the extreme cold, so no way to clean off the brine that was kicked up while traveling back and forth to work. As a result, my blue car is somewhat "ashy" in color. Nasty.

BTW, already had my 2nd oil change about 1,100 miles ago (at my local Valvoline Quick Lube), so I told the service manager that he didn't need to mess with that. They rotated my tires and gave everything else a good once-over. Good-to Go. (y)

Took the kids to get lunch and found someone with excellent taste in trim level and color.

Here is my new 2025 Limited Hybrid in Cashmere Bronze with light grey interior. Just picked it up last month and am really liking it so far. Glad I found this group, seems like a lot of knowledgeable and helpful people here.

Regards, Mark

I can't get over how well Hyundai did with that grey interior finish.
It makes the Tuscon look more upscale than it is.

My wife and I went bluebonnet hunting yesterday in north Texas. It was a beautiful day: clear skies, bright sunshine, light winds, and temps around 78...

I both love and hate blank paint. I had a 14 EGT in Black for 7 years then my Ranger was as well; had it for 2 years. Now I went blue for ???

Looks freaking awesome when clean.. then takes what seems like an hour to mess it up.

That said, yours is looking great in that pic :D

Mine and the red limited that lives one house over; they have two Koreans as well. That is an Elantra sort of hiding behind a bush. Just got it cleaned after the rain... probably just cursed us with another random storm in an hour or so.

Got correct paint code paint and made them body color. Holding them next to the hood.. same same but not shiny. Sitting in the darker grill they look darker even with more light.

But also.. body color grill things = 10hp.

We had the Intense Blue on our 2022 Tucson,....upgraded to the 2025 Atlantis Blue. Both colors are nice variations of our favorite color!! Looks nice!
