Tapping into any existing wire: if your goal is NOT to cut the existing wire, use a Positap CLICKY HERE. i've been using them for years. They're very popular in motorcycle circles as we're always wiring up something or other. Never had one fail. No cutting, soldering or crimping needed.
To answer your question about the PAH60, yes I used Wago connectors, but they didn't come with the unit. I like to use them for applications where I may have to disconnect everything occasionally. I wouldn't use them in an environment where they could get wet all the time. Positaps work well in those applications.
Positapively the best. I have used several times.

For those that don't like to click a link...

I have a Tucson Hybrid N1 2025, it did not come pre-wired even though Hyundai's website shows it is. I ended up installing the Tekonsha ZCI #119251 because you don't cut into the factory wires, I also installed the Curt Hitch 13485. Everything fit and worked perfect.

fenderman - nice install. Where did you get the Hyundai hitch cover? I brought home my 2025 Tucson Sel last week and want to get a hitch on before next fishing season. I was sought of waiting to see if anyone developed a plug and play wiring harness.

Did you self install or have it installed? I saw some videos where a power wire had to be run to the battery or fuse box, was this your case? What panels had to be removed for the taillight wiring. Appreciate your help.

I can't take credit for this! This is sgama2000's buggy. I also think he noted that it was a professional install, not DIY. That said, I'm also interested in where to attach the harness wires - near the plug behind the driver side rear wheel (my SEL gas has a detachable plug) or fished up into the tail light area, or some other panel.

I have the Tekonsha 119250/119251. Could you tell me how many wire system and do you know what the wire color codes are? It also mentions G code (low sided switch) on the instructions. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Remember those Positaps we mentioned above? Simply hooking one on to ANY wire enables you to test its function with a simple volt meter. Then you can just remove it when you're done, and except for a tiny hole in the insulation, the wire is unharmed. Worried about the hole? A tiny dab of Elmer's glue will seal it up if it bothers you. But personally, I wouldn't waste the time :)

Confirmed that we are all looking for Hyundai part # CWF67AC000 or CWF67-AC000 (just with a dash) for our non-XRT 2025 models.

Here is the installation guide:

The install requires removing some interior panels on the rear quarter to expose the "factory harness" that used to be tucked away in the exterior rear drivers' side pre-2025. (this was shown on post #23 in this thread)

With the new design it appears that they didn't want the control box sitting outside. So they put the factory tap-in in the interior, and the control box stays in the interior as well. Just the 4-pin trailer plug goes through a grommet and gets attached to the tow receiver bar.

Thanks OldManWinter, appreciate the info.

When I typed in that model # ZC1 119251 says it won’t fit a 25 Tuscon

2025 where is the 2025 Tucson trailer wiring harness plug?
I have a 2025 Tucson. I ordered the "Hyundai Tucson Tow Hitch Harness" from hyundaishop.com and it works fine. It did NOT come with installation instructions, but I found them on the net somewhere (I didn't save the url). It would be a hard (for me) to install without instructions.

Did you order the part number posted above? You do install? Have to remove inner rear panels to get to wiring, correct?
Yes, I installed it in my 2025 Tucson Limited. The part number was CWF67-AC000. The instructions posted above are correct. You remove the transverse panel (across the back of inside of the car) and "dislodge" the left luggage trim panel (the big one on the left), leaving it attached below and in front.

No. I installed the Tekonsha 119251 Zero Contact Interface T-Connector Trailer Light Power Module. I didn't want to take the back panel off. I removed the drivers side tail lens and wired the brake and tail lights and at the bumper connected to the turn signals. Then grounded to frame and ran a wire to the battery. Works great without any any splicing.

I have exactly that one in my 2025 Tucson SEL right at the center of the bumper as you shown.

I went for servicing the Tucson for another reason and asked them. They say it's the connector we're looking for connecting the trailer wiring.

I'm connecting a CURT 56420 Vehicle-Side Custom 4-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness that I purchased already thinking the connector was at the left side.

I'll let you know how it goes

BTW, I'd already spoke with Tucson service about the lack of the connector, and they sent me the same procedure to open the left side panel in the luggage compartment as someone shared here previously.
So if this connector is the one we all are looking for it, then no even Hyundai service knows the connector is available already, but the genius that moved it is in sync with the product department, and that's why it's still published as available in all their marketing/sales info
